Day One at the recent Pet Expo and I started painting a Hans Macaw parrot.
I started with the background and this proved a little challenging in the tight space and vertical aspect. The lighting was not the greatest either but it did not really affect the painting. The parrot is at home in the Blodell Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth park.
Coming to the pet expo is how I found out what type of parrot he is. so much knowledge in one location and I hope those who went explored all the different booths.
Great place for kids.
