Lalita Hamill and I won the final of Battle of the Brush.
The grand finale of the Golden brush battle was held at the Heritage Hall on Main Street. Latia and I battled against 3 other teams of winners from previous battles.
Pairs of artists compete to complete a painting in 80 minutes on a 40 x30 inch canvas. We won a large trophy and the painting will appear of the cover of Hush Magazine in January. The painting sold that night.
To reach the final we had to win our round. The theme for our round was Splat Abstract. We had so much fun painting together we have carried on and continue to battle our brushes in Lalita’s studio in Walnut Grove. More to come.
